Le springbok ou euchore (Antidorcas marsupialis ) est une gazelle d'Afrique méridionale dont le nom afrikaner signifie « bouc sauteur » de par son aptitude à exécuter de grands bonds lorsqu'il est poursuivi par un prédateur tel que le guépard, le lion ou le léopard. Il constitue la seule espèce du genre Antidorcas.

Another picture I took at a water hole in Etosha...

The Springbok (Afrikaans and Dutch: spring = jump; bok = antelope, deer, or goat) (Antidorcas marsupialis) is a small brown and white gazelle that stands about 75 cm high. The males can weigh up to 50 kg and the females up to 37 kg. Springbok inhabit the dry inland areas of south and southwestern Africa.
