As I told you, more pics from the mountains!

This place is the top of the ski resort (Cerro Bayo), itīs call "Provinciales", you arrive there after walking 15 minutes (itīs a non patrolled slope). Next year there will be a new ski resort in that place, so this is one of the last pics of virgin snow and virgin cornice.

The cornice was not to high, maybe 1 or 2 metres tall. It was very long, all along between two little hill tops (Iīm very bad taking distances...)

The top of the hill is at 1782mts. This cornice start to grow up with snowfall and with the wind. Is a dangerous place, because you have differents kinds of snow, ice and temperatures. For example, I went here some weeks ago, during october, and you can hear how the snow was melting because the sunny days and hot temperatures.

The picture was taken after a ski storm, at midday. The idea was to ride over virgin snow, to be the first arriving at that part of the mountain... and we done it! jajaja

I hope you like it!

Hola Brenda! Wow!!! Hasta la vista!

Very interesting detail, here Branda. Wonderful cornice, and I like the say you did the exposure (hard in the snow) with the white preserved and the beautiful blue that the sky becomes. Great details throughout (especially for f/7), too.
Mike

Hello Brenda,
Excellent exposure allowing us to see good details in the snow and what a beautiful blue sky. Thanks for sharing.
