I saw this pretty beetle yesterday in the grass. Really beautifully more multicolored, very small chap: (approx. 3mm). The kind is unfortunately unknown to me.

Great capture! As for so small insect your picture is excellent - very detailed, with great POV and BG. Superb work Heinz!

I like your composition Heinz. The beetle looks so good stuck there on the end of the plant stem. Excellent capture, the irridescent beetle looks so clear. Well done.

I liked the composition and the impact of the colours with very fine details: I am not sure if a vertical framing would do better. TFS !

Brilliant, you have captured the iridescent colours really well. The bg is also great.
Thanks for posting.

Great shot. I like the way he is resting on the end of the leaf which is curving slightly. Interesting background too with the 3 shades. Well done.

Belle photo Heins, je pense qu'il s'agit d'un coléoptère de la famille des chrysomelidae. Peut etre Oreina geminata (sur millepertuis). Il faut connaitre la plante sur laquelle se trouve l'insecte. Didier.

Hi Heinz, beautiful and artistic job you did here, the composition is amazing. The details are very good, and the colours soft but beautiful. Great work.

Awww ... I feel kind of sorry for the little thing!

Beautiful capture, you even managed to show the colors of the antennae! No overexposure, which always lurks with these upclose shots, and every detail stands out. Very very well done. I am putting this under my favorites.

Thanks for sharing!

Very rich colors. Incredible focus. The texture of the beetle is unbelievable. Great picture.

Great Shot, for the composition, background, sharpness and light.

Hi Heinz, great shot. I love the colours & blurred background. Perfect title...tfs
