Pablo certainly is the master craftsman of landscapes, Alexei. Your association of this wonderful landscape under the arch of a rainbow with his name is, therfore, apt and appropriate.
This is one of the neatest rainbow pictures to have ever appeared on TN.

Wonderful color and nice composition of sky and earth.

Завидую белой завистью, сама мечтала снять радугу. Но один раз не было при себе камеры, а во второй получилось еще обиднее - увидела кусок радуги на небе и решила чуть-чуть отойти в сторону, чтобы дома не закрывали вид. Поошла всего-то метров 30, но за это время радуга растаяла в воздухе.

Yes, Pablo is an excellent landscape photographer and this shot of a rainbow is a fine tribute to him. If we ignore the man-made artifacts this is also an interesting composition and glimpse into the type of land that you have around you where you live.

Hello my dear friend

I agree with you completl and say that Pablo is one of the TN members with a special eye to composition and to turning the most simple and ordinary things into some great photos.
Therefore, i can understand why you appreciate his work that much and thus dedicate this lovely rainbow to him.
And what a beautiful one it is: big, thick and well visible in all spectrums of the light!
Unfortunately though, we can not always choose where we find these beautiful ellements of nature. But you still managed to minimize the human element here and created a splendid and very harmonious composition. I must also admire what a beautiful view you have from your balcony :))
The expsure here is very well handled and therefore the colors and tones everywhere (the rainbow, the sky and even on the buildings and trees) came out very beautiful! My congratulations for everything in this photo!

I cannot help wonder though, how would a photo taken at 400 or 500mm look like, with a close-up on the trees near the horizon and just this massive ranbow emerging from it ;)

Anyway, Bravo Alexei for a great post and a fine dedication

This is a most beautiful rainbow with lovely colors. I think the housing complex in the foreground followed by the fields adds much character to the shot. You have a nice view from your balcony.

Lovely tribute to Pablominto's skill. I love the glorious rainbow with the beautiful colours. The composition is perfect for showing it off. I live in a town as well and it is hard to find beautiful wildlife shots.

Truly great work. I tried myself some rainbow shots, but all the time they came out faded and laking the shine of the real thing (even after some postprocessing tries). No ideea how you did this but it came out splendid.

It is fortunate to be able to capture a rainbow.
In this photo I like the line of electrical poles. This gives a nice perspective.
The spectrum of colours worked well on the rainbow!

I'm sorry to hear that there is no real countryside near to where you live. This looks very much like the agricultural plains inland from where we are except that we have a lot of water too. I miss the undulating landscape too! Nice tribute to Pablo and a fine capture of the rainbow.

What a wonderful rainbow you managed to capture here. I am pleasantly surprised about the brightness of the landscape. I normally see rainbows when it is much darker.
Your vertical composition with the rainbow in a nice diagonal line is great to look at. Details, exposure and colors look all very natural. A great dedication to a very kind person.

Hi Alexei,
I add my praise here. From my experience with Odessa, there is often a slight haze, but you got a very clear day for the picture. From my physics classes centuries ago I remember that under favorable circumstances there is more than one rainbow, a principal and a secondary one, separated by a darker "Mach interband". You were able to picture this Mach interband! Wizard you!
