unfortunately with missing tails, only a 'trunk' is seen!

A true beauty here - both the butterfly and the photo!
I'm simply blown away by the amount of details you managed to squeeze in with only an f/2.8, but it did great when it comes to the BG - which is nicely blurred.
Spot-on focus and exposure, fact that also gave you just the exact amount of colors you needed here.
Very nice POV and good composition, overall.

Que elegancia Nicholas !! Hay algunas fotografías, como esta, que solo verlas te dejan con " la boca abieta " por la admiración. Casi todo lo veo bien, aunque lo que más me gusta es el color y el excelente enfoque , sobre todo a la parte delantera del insecto así como la enorme profundidad. Diferente e interesante encuadre.

This butterfly species is so colourful that it looks like painted! Great details and DOF too. As for me a little different POV would be better (much more from profile not from above) but it is just a small thing :)
