[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Do you remember a fairy-tale named Maya the Honeybee/ Die Biene Maja. Look at the shape of the insect shadow on the leaf. Looks like I have seen this shape many times in this fairy-tale.

Hello Mark,
a pretty good picture of the bug, well focused and showing sharp details. Colurs, light and the whole composition are very attractive.
Best wishes, Peter

Hello Mark,
a guy who calls himself Cat Stevens wakes my interest for sure. And indeed, your first steps in TN are promising, maybe the don't lead to music but to good pictures.
On the other hand, I missed out at school when "Biene Maya" was fashion. What I see is the parasitic mite on the right shoulder of this great portrait of Palomena prasina (you can determine the species thanks to the precise presentation of the antennae). Its surprising that you achieved this DOF with f/5.6.
My best regards
Dietrich

Hello Mark,
I do not know this fairy-tale but the composition of this picture is nice. The light and the sharpness are good too.
Have a nice day,
Mariki

Hi Mark, A good macro of this insect. We have a similar one on the lemon tree at times. Good sharpness and colour. TFS. Murray.
