[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
This is a huge piece of tourmalin into golden quartz, presented in a showcase at the Tucson Mineral Show, this year.
Tucson has the biggest mineral show in the world, the greatest collectors go there to buy, sometimes sell, or trade minerals, and some of the beautifulest pieces in the world are presented in showcases, special displays only for the show.
Tourmalin cristals are about 20 centimeters (around 7 - 8 inches), that piece is from Minas Gerais, Brazil. It's one of the most perfect pieces from there, for this size and these colors.
