A fellow uw-photographer. Nice picture but I would have prefered a little tighter crop to let the hole sea star fill the picture. nice colour of the sea star.

The red lines of this sea star gives a high impact when you see the photo, they are very clear, and contrast very well with the backgorund. Really beautiful.
Here, you had more luck than me with the gulls, this star does not move so quickly as they flies! As you say... "thats the way it goes"!
