[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken as night was about to fall. I glanced at the water and really liked what I saw. The moon was so low that I was unable to fit in both the sky and the water at the same time, but in the end, I really liked this one.

The place I took this at was Turnbull. Bob has had several photos he's taken from there listed on this site and it really is a place of beauty. I extended the exposure time to get this; the woman with me also tried to snare the same shot, but hers didn't come out. In a way I felt good that mine did and hers didn't, even though we aren't competitors. I think I had a case of jerkitis! Anyway, I really loved the composition, and as we left, the coyotes started singing. It was really a great way to end the night.

That's a beauty, Kathy! There's something sad and lonely about it though. Maybe it's that solitary moon. Of course, if there were two moons, it would be plumb weird, huh? ha ha
