What is this?
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Hello friends, I found this stronge creature on Uludag Mountain about 1500 meters high. It lives on a meadow between death grasses. It looks like a mushroom but I'm not sure. Like a sponge tube.|
I didn't have any photography-art care during taken this photo. Please help me what is tihis? A plant? A mushroom? Very interesting and stronge for me.
Thanks for all.

great pic, looks like a mushroon indeed. greetings Ori
yours fantastic photo shows Clavaria fragilis Holmskyold 1790 [= Clavaria vermicularis Scopoli], not poisonous but not edible, quite common.
Merhaba Fevzi bey,
Beautiful photo, great exposure and exposition. I think Marco (Sarcodon) 6 years ago had a little trouble caused by the taxonomic problems and the incorrect informations of The Index Fungorum. Clavaria fragilis Holmsk. (= Clavaria acuta Sowerby) is growing gregariously, but without united in the base, while the species you photographed, Clavaria vermicularis Batsch is always in groups visible on the photo. These are 2 different species, above all, C. vermicularis is the type species of the genus Clavaria.
Best wishes, László
