[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Melanchroia chephise from the Geometridae family of moths.
I shot this one in the evening as it was active and landed beside me for a short rest.
This specie have a wide distribution from Argentina to North America so it was very easy to identify.

Hola Oz,
Excellent capture of M. chephise, a species of Geomter moth that I have not seen before. Fine sharpness and good simple composition against a suitably blurred BG.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hi Oz!
Another fantastic moth species from you, and this time from Argentina.
Interesting is that it has almost all wings black, only their tops are white :)
Fantastic sharpness and DOF. Once again I feel really good watching your photo :)
Best greetings from much colder place,
Radomir

PS. I just would like to inform you that your photo of Calomera aulica is already presented in the PES gallery (in Coleoptera section - page1). Of course I would be very grateful for any other pictures of Cicindelidae in the future :)

Hello Oz,
I like insect pictures of this at TN under-represented area of the world, in particular, species not or only rarely shown.
Your picture shows the characteristics of the moth species very well, with high sharpness and detail-richness. An excellent and highly valuable contribution to TN!
Best wishes, Peter
