This is a photo I took the same day I took the the "Whip It" shot.
I just felt like posting a butterfly today. Guess I need that color in my life this morning.

Once again I bring you the Cloudless Sulphur (Phoebis sennae)on a Turk's Cap.

If you dream of a butterfly...

From Soul Future

Dream symbol: butterfly
butterfly, butterflies

A butterfly within a dream often symbolizes the onset of a period of transformation
Symbolic of a life cycle
Learning to release the past and embrace the new
Living in the present
A need to slow down and reflect on your growth thus far
Beauty, lightness, freedom, sensitivity
A disfigured butterfly may symbolize having outgrown your present situation or cycle
Failure to commit or invest time in something, flitting around
Someone who is unable to stick to one interest, place or occupation for a reasonable period of time
Butterflies in the tummy are indicative of nervousness, anxiety, worry or stress
A person who never settles with one interest or in one place for long

There ya go..I beat em! Nice shot...It looks like part of the plant. It is very leafy looking. So you have been at least out and about. Such a busy person. Good show none the less.

Hi Angelina,
But I think that these colours in your life this morning and here in TN works great!
It's so good the contrast made by the bright and vivid colours used.
The upper source of light creates shadows on the wings that helps to stand out its nerves and textures.
The dark background works just great to enhance the colours here.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,

Hello Angelina.
Wonderful butterfly!
Alive colors and very good sharpness.
Excellent details and parallel POV.
Very pleasant composition.
Well done!
Best wishes,
Josť Roberto

Hi Angie, Nice image with good colors. Though I have two nits this time. For one - the noise reduction/sharpening you applied seems a bit too much - it did wash out some detail. The other one concerns the ID. I think you've got yourself a Pink edged Sulphur. The Cloudless Sulphur I believe has not so visible veins. I could be wrong - but check it out... :)
All in all nice to look at!
Cheers, Klaus

Perfect !!Red and yellow on black,a fantastic work, thanks for share,Luciano

Beautiful lighting and background here Angy. Great detail too!

Once again, a wonderful capture. The plant, at first, seems to have a growth on it, but that's because it blends in so well. I love the contrast of the red and green. The dof is perfect, but then, I rarely see a messed up shot (come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a 'bad' shot from you). Wonderful composition.

Hi Angelina,
what an interesting and high contrast photo this one is.The split coloured background is just incredible.Strange to say but parts of this photo look more real than real.Good colour and detail with that "cool" background are wonderful to see and thanks for this one. Bob

hello Angelina

excellent image with grat luminosity on the subject,
excellent dof and details ont he subject and i like
the 2 tones colors background, TFS

...then I must be a butterfly. The background is just perfect for highlighting the butterfly and flower. I like the crop you did from edge to edge subject. Details with the lighting are brought out well. Nice work Angelina.
