[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Bolinus (Murex) brandaris & sponge from the vicinity of izmir. The live specimen was collected by a beam trawl between Yeni and Eski Foça from a depth of 10-12 m. The sponge (probably a Euspongia sp.) was also alive at the time of collection. So they were preserved and mounted together. The photo was taken under available light.

Son derece ilginç ve değişik bir fotograf olmuş, elinize sağlık. Arka planın siyah oluşu şahane bir kontrast kazandırmış.

Çok ilginç ve güzel, alışılmadık.

And hello again (but not the last time :>)
This picture is even more interesting that the last one I commented - I usually saw Cnidaria on mollusc's shells but never a member of Porifera! Interesting and very unique photo!
Best greetings,
Radomir
