We went for a small walk through the city with a lot of small parks where we saw this male Long-tailed shrike (Lanius schach), further also a few Isabellineshrikes, subspecies Lanius phoenicuroides, there in the park. Great country for shrikes!

Prachtige foto van deze klauwier. Scherpte, details, diagonale compositie en kleuren zijn fantastisch. De groen/zwarte achtergrond is erg mooi.

Hi Peter, this is a very nice shot of a bird I have never seen but which reminds me of black capped chickadee. Lovely colours, nice DOF, thank you!
