This picture is dedicated to Mr. Sumon Sinha (Mana) / Sumon Da, for his active help in identifying my previous post which I am very much thankful to him.

Hypolimnas bolina / The Danaid Eggfly
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Arthropoda
Class: Insecta
Order: Lepidoptera
Family: Nymphalidae
Subfamily: Nymphalinae
Genus: Hypolimnas
Species: H. bolina
Binomial name : Hypolimnas bolina
The Danaid Eggfly is an excellent example of sexual diamorphism. The male is black with white oval spots. The female is a mimic of the unpalatable Plain Tiger in appearance and behavior. It can be distinguished from the Plain Tiger by the single black spot on its hind wing as opposed to three or four spots on the Plain Tiger and by comparing the pattern of their wing margins.

Thanks for viewing.

Hola amigo,
precisa macro y bello pov,
detalles hermosos...
color y excelente compo,
bonita dedicatoria...
saludos Haraprasan.

A gine picture and very nice dedication to Sumon, the man with the hat. Strange how one can never see too many of these creatures. Perhaps it is because I rarely see them so closely. Composition is fine as is saturation. Very nicely done.

very beautiful composition Haraprasan
the butterfly is superb with fantastic
colors and well focused

best regards sERGIO

HI Haraprasan,
the colors have come out so natural and he elusive blue irredience is captured so well !!
the DOF and sharpness is perfect.

Hi Haraprasn,
Well composed and a nice open-wing POV. The color balance/saturation seems a bit out, but I don't know what this b-fly looks like in person :)
Well done.

Hi Haraprasan. You have taken this beautiful butterfly with fine detail and rich colours. The markings stand out so well. a nice top POV/DOF. well done TFS. good notes too.

Hi Haraprasan,
It gives such immense pleasure to have such a wonderful shot as a dedication. So nice of you and a big Thank You. I think the colours are a bit over saturated here maybe because of PP work, this I have tried to correct in a workshop, hope you don't mind that. Very impressive sharpness and a fine POV to portray it. Superb diagonal composition. Kudos.

* This is my first workshop, a bit apprehensive.

Nicely placed in the frame .The focus is very good.
Very good focus and details.
The POV and DOF are well done.
I am sure Sumon will be honoured.

bravo pour ce joli papillon, les couleurs sont jolies, juste un peu OE sur le blanc, belle netteté
bravo et merci
excuses ptd)

Hello Haraprasan,
Amaqzing wing patterns in this fellow!
The shining spots really stand out, and the texture is good, fine colour palette...
A well composed presentation!

Hi Haraprasan,
Sharp image. Brilliant colours. Thanks for sharing.
It's a difficult shot in terms of exposure. The WS version from Sumon has managed the inevitable OE(on spots) to some extent. Though, I am not sure if WS can really do much.
