I prefer this one to your first posting of the Lilac-breasted Roller as the sky is better in this one. Otherwise this is sharp and well up to your high technical standard in a fine composition.

you're very lucky to get the bird like this. I saw some in Africa, but I wasn't able to get it close like that with those amazing colors!

This lovely Annick. It was obliging of your little bird to pause on an upper twig so to be isolated against the blue sky. The colors look beautiful and natural and the sharpness is super.

Hi Annick,
this sure is a colourful bird and one I have not seen before now.I like the background sky a very mellow shade of blue that is uniform throughout which doesn't distract the eye from the bird.The focus is crisp bringing good detail to the subject and best of all are the variety of colours in the bird's plumage,outstanding.Thanks for sharing this view of the Lilac-breasted Roller.
