|bamboo, a plant well-loved by Asian, has been a symbol of righteousness, modesty, preseverence, flexibility etc etc since ancient time.It can withstand the most severe winter, it bends and won't break that easily. It's straight growing tall into the sky, it calms one down with its gentle swaying in the breeze.|
I shot this photo in the only Japanese cementry in Singapore,I decided to convert into b/w to bring out the ch'an (or zen in Japanese) mood...

Really nice photo - I love the black and white. I think bamboo looks very serene.
