[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For the first time, a pair of Wood Ducks is spending the winter in my neighborhood pond (Wabukayne Park), together with the local Mallards.
The picture is taken just before the big winter storm from last weekend, hand held at 1/200 ISO 400.

I wish you all Happy Holidays, Marry Christmas, and Happy New Year

Hi Mario,
I love this wintery shot because of the detail and great composition,
well Done and Merry Christmas,

Hi mario,

Very well composed and the bird shows the signs of being cold too as he pulls his neck to the Body, sharpness and composition is worth speaking. Happy Christmas to you

Hi Mario,
he sure is a handsome fellow and is easily the most attractive of all ducks here in North America being a creature of great colour and textures. In the years I have been living in Alberta I have only seen one of these birds and luckily for me I got some photos of him.Your well focused photo shows very good detail and colour and the snow is a surprise.Very nice and thank you for sharing him with us and your good wishes. Bob

Hola Mario.- Una muy bella foto de este Pato. Exelentes los colores de su plumaje, y esos copos de nieve sobre su cuerpo lucen bellamente.
Saludos Y Feliz Navidad Mario.

Hi Mario, a lovely winter shot with the Wood Duck bathed in snow. I heard about your winter storm up there. It must have been very cold as the snow flakes do not seem to be melting on the Duck's back. You managed a very good exposure and caught good colours and sharpness on the Duck. Great pov and dof.
Best wishes for a happy holiday.

Your photographic skills are up to rocket scientist standards. I say that tongue in cheek having read your bio.... and it isn't often that I have a good chance to wander around the gallery...but in this holiday week, many of my usual friends are busy with celebration's, parties, church, or some family things... so I wander with two points to give out...and look at what happened.! I found you....what a super find for me...you do such great work both in your hobby and more than likely in your day job as well....This is a good place for me to leave my last two points tonight...and may you have a good holiday season in Ontario.
