Well well...you do as Ulla...an image with more than one subject. Definably a contrast in sentient beings as insects. Sort of the "Where's Waldo" of nature. I like it...Can you think perhaps how many things there are in this picture which cannot be seen...At the super macro level millions of "things" living are included. It gives one pause to think about where does one thing or person stop and another start. Fine photo Silvio...

Hello Silvio, very nice double capture here,
excellent focus, lovely colors and composition id just great
cheer and have a wonderful new year

Lovely capture of these two insects on the Thistle. I really like the black bumblebee and both are sharply in focus. Good details and beautiful colours. A fine composition too.
Many thanks, Ulla
Being a new member to Trek Nature I am still browsing if time permits. I think at this stage my eyes are working overtime to search for anything that will grab my attention, and I am sure by the end of the week I’ll be squint-eyed. It sure is a very difficult task, and it is easier said than done to pick and choose for a particular photo to critique. There are just so many talented photographers on the site and they all have such fabulous portfolios. I just love the colour purple and when I saw this “2x1” posting of yours, I decided that this is the one I’ll would like to give my smiley to. This is an excellent capture filled with a wide variety of colours which really complement one another. I am sure it is the same kind of flower, I have just seen on the photo of Ivan (argus). You caught this two insects well with your lens and you must of just been at the right spot and at the right time. I enjoyed browsing through your portfolio and you have some lovely sunset photos. Thanks for sharing.
