[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have to go back to December to find a sunny day. I really like a wet snow that clings to the trees like this. I suspect this is a crow, as it is rather small and I don't think we have ravens near here????

I kind of like this shot despite the fact that I was lugging snowshoes and poles with one arm, sliding on ice, and took the shot one handed without checking anything!

I've always thought that ravens and crows are the same thing, but what do I know? :)

What I do know is that you have taken some very nice snow images lately and I'm jealous. I've GOTTA get some pictures like this.

This is a very, very good picture given the conditions under which it was taken.

Hello Evelynn,
A very good shot even captured single handed with the camera!
the exposure and focus is still very good also brings good sharpness, natural colour and details!
a very pleasant composition
many thanks for sharing

Hello Evelynn

I love this type of photo. After heavy snow I go into seek mode looking for conifers laden with fresh snow.I to date have yet to get anything worthy of posting. For a country boy who lives in Canada that says much. This is so beautiful.
The frame is well filled with a bonus crow too.The lighting is excellent and the colours are lovely.
The snow here, 60 cm plus ,is gone, melted away in a thaw.
I like the crop and composition on this one.
Great job.

Hi Evelynn, I love this image, the trees are so beautiful, I love the crow standing there. We see the many details of the bark and the snow is heavy with softness. That's a sportive shot! Thank you!

Hi Evelynn

I love the idea of you taking the one handed shot on slippy snow. Amazing work in these conditions! I love to see snow scene like this. I would love to see something like that here. The bird adds a lovely extra detail

Hi Evelynn,

I really like the vertical for this shot. Very good exposure for the whites and the crow adds a lovely contrast to the picture. Well done! Yes I'm very happy with my new equipment, can't wait for the spring to experiement it more!

Hi Evelynn, splendid winter composition with this tree full of snow, great sharpness, very well done, have a great week end, ciao Silvio

Hi Evelynn ,
Nice shot with lovely composition.
good light and vivid colours.
well done

my best wishes

Hi Evelynn,
Great exposure! even the shaded areas have a high degree of details. I also like the green peaking through the layer of snow.
The single crow does add a lot to the entire composition.

P.S. I had it all planned to upload one or two photos during this weekend. But then I got ill again. The inflammation in my glands returned.

Hi Evelynn.
Nice shot. I like this one, the tree has a LOT of snow, and the black bird posing in one of the branches.
Please take care no to fall down in the sonw, I guess is very slippery.

Hi Evelynn,
I like this photo of yours as it shows real winter time and not the sickly 50F degrees it is here where I live at the moment.I hope that you soon get some breaks in the weather and have lovely blue skies to work with.I like your photo and the crow helps to give a sense of scale to it.Crows are the smaller of the two species and it looks to be a crow to be sure. The blanket of snow looks great on the tree branches and what a mellow shade of blue the sky has, very nice indeed.A straight forward composition with very good focus and colour. Thanks for this snowy photo. Bob

Hello Evelynn,
I like very much this picture, snow covered left side of tree, the crow add verry well on this superb composition, very nice colours and framing,
cheer and many thanks for shared,

Hi Evelynn. I love most of your photos. You've got a real gift. This one in particular had the crow put it over the top. You've left me in awe with the moments you've captured. Keep them coming. TFS Trevor
