This is a lovely composition of these beautiful birds. We have these in the UK but they are found much further north. Great diagonal composition (very obliging of them)! Plus good result in overcast conditions.

I like the water ripple and the movement at the back of the ducks.

I have never seen these..I wonder if they frequent the south...if so I shall be on the lookout or if not for a stray...Great composition with the quad! There is a strnage difference I am noticing...of things looking to the right as opposed the left. I wonder if it is just me that is noticing and whether it is a whole concept issue in my brain. In the way I received signals from the eye...You always give me something to think about...

Beautiful - well captured and composed. Well done! Cheers, Klaus
Other than the Mandarin Duck, Red-Breasted Mergansers are my favourite water-fowl!!!
I love the sleekness, spikiness and pointiness of them... if you get what I mean ;) They look like a gaggle of punks!
Very nice capture.
The spiky crest and long beak are shown very clearly here.
Nice lighting and great exposure.
Striking contrast as well. I wondered what it would look like in B+W so I did a workshop... it's not an improvement, just a different view of it.
Well done Rick,

Adorable picture of these four in a row - all with their punk hairdos. I love the way they are lined up. The ripples in the water are wonderful.

Ahhh, this is a great team!
I adore the diagonal pose, on line indeed...
Great details are captured in the birds, in particular the hairdo is charming..!

Lovely capture of these "out on the town". Who's their hair dresser? Beautiful birds in a sweet line up. The water ripples
are a nice textural addition. Well done, Richard

What a beautiful diagonal composition.
The way the sexes lined up is neat with the females as book ends.
Wonderful sharpness and focus.
The colours appear natural.
