As I was leaving from taking Union Pacific photos over the Lewis River-Trekearth-Treklens, I saw these bright yellow lichen?, I think anyway and decided to take the shot. Interesting patterns across the branch...

Nice use of complimenting colours in nature...The lichen almost looks eatable...some are quite healing I understand, but not appetizing to look at...looking for art form and nature is another thing and done well..Very good Steve!
