Dark blue crown-patch,red on lower throat and upper breast,black bill,dark eyes and yellowish legs.produce high shrill tsi-tsi-tsi...sound.
can be found on garden,plantation and mangroves forest at Thailand,Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore.

Excellent image, that shows 'hanging' posture of this Hanging Parrot.
Very sharp with 'ciku' [sapodilla,(Manilkara sp.)] fruit.
You are very lucky to have this bird perched very low. Mine was high 100 feet away.
