I live in this town and this is one of the skies that foretell storms, unfortunately... this is not fulfilled :( , since it would come to us well, it is time of tourism and the drought causes that the forest fires are a constant threat.
San Martín de los Andes, located to borders of the Lácar Lake, 640 m.s.n.m. and to only 40 km of the border with Chile. The first establishment was a fort that was constructed in 1883, in the Fertile valley of the Maipú, closely together of the present location. But the 4 of February of 1898 were transferred to the place where is today the city, reason why were left this one like date of foundation. |
