Glad your feeling better Rick...but it is still snowing I see...we had an inch or so that day...still added to the other...well some used to say this is for the birds...I say it is for this squirrel who seems not to mind at all...would make a nice hat:-) Just kiddin' Mr Squirrel..in case images can hear!

Lovely capture of the Red Squirrel in the snowstorm. I don't think he takes any notice as long as he gets his food! (A little while ago we had one here who settled nicely inside the covered birdtable to eat and shelter from the cold wind!)
This is a lovely composition with the fresh snow falling. I like the pose of the Squirrel and the natural environement.

This a really nice image Rick... full of my favorite soft colors. I love the patterns of the background, falling snow, and the natural framing provided by the branches. The touch of red provided by the seed is perfect. Nice work.

Hi Rick,

Glad to see that you are out and about again! This squirrel is just wonderful. The snow falling on him doesn't seem to bother him a bit as he sits in the classic pose munching away. A terrific winter scene and a lovely composition. Aren't you getting tired of snow??

I really like the way you've framed this picture, lovely composition showing the squirrel in his environment. Not easy to shoot when it snows and you did a great job at it. Beautiful natural colours, good details in the fur and this snow is such a plus to this adorable image.

Poor little thing! It looks so cold and freezing out there. This is another one of your excellent shots. Technically good, very sharp with good colour. Very cute, charming and adorable too. Great pose. I just love the snow on the branch. Squirrels are always cute - and snow covered ones are probably the cutest. Thanks for sharing.
