[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
To All Respected TN members,

My exams are over and now I can continue for 15days till my next session starts. Today I went alongwith my father to the factory in Bawal (Haryana) and I found this bird in a small dirty pond. I wanted to put both the birds in the same frame and hopefully I succeed.

I dont know the ID and DAD told me to learn on my own.

Hope someone help me with the ID.

Thanks for looking and will try to continue to shoot.

Sincerely
Vignesh

Hello Vignesh,
Thank you for visiting my recent butterfly post and sharing your thoughts. The bird on the right is a Black-winged Stilt. The other is beyond my skills without a better view. I use the book Birds of Northern India by Richard Grimmett and Tim Inskip which is very good. You have a good low POV here. Perhaps for the two birds more space on the left and less on the right would improve the composition. Focus is reasonably good though plumage detail is hard to discern. Hope to see what you come up with during your school break. TFs Richard

Good to see you back, Vignesh.
Hope you did well in your exams.
These two water birds are very well captured. I wish I could help you with their IDs but I am perhaps the worst of all in this respect!
I like the leggy bird in particular. you have shown its black and white plumage very well.
Keep shooting and all the best in your new class.

Hi Vigi,
Welcome back. I don't know why Ganeshji critiqued my last post with your A/c. Anyway hope your exams are over and enjoying the summer vacations. I think it is some species of Godwit. But I am not sure about the ID. Hope everything is fine there. Thanks a lot for sharing this lovely capture.

Bellos y naturales colores y buen acercamiento a esa distancia focal.
Un saludo desde España: Josep Ignasi

there is some humor in this picture and title....I shall not talk much about it...but it is cute in a unusual way...very nice work!

Hello Vignesh,
Nice shot on both leggy birds. The focus and color clarity are great. Hope you enjoy your photographing during the school breaks.
