This is a very beautifuk and crisp sun set that u've captured. specially the silhouette of the tree and the rays falling below the sun. Great shot!!

Good......very good to see you back....ahhh...some touches of the good old days and such....Ya know,,,,,moving may be what ya want but if ya don't have to leave, Selkirk is not a bad stomping grounds...just the simple lapping of the water...and an occasional ice flow or some:-)

Hi Donna,
Good to see your landscape image after a considerably long time. My infrequent appearances on TN have deprived me of the pleasure of looking at all the wonderful pictures that keep on getting posted regularly.
This is a stunningly charming sunrise picture with lovely shades and tones.
The entire composition exudes a sense of peace and quiet.

I suspect your place is like mine... sunrises are better than sunsets!
This is a beautiful winter scenery, nothing dramatic but full of attractive elements...
Inclusion of the group of trees adds a lot to a well balanced composition!

The trees are perfectly place to create f/g interest and behind them is a harmony of colour. It is calm, it is tranquil, it is magic!

Hi Donna!

One can rarely have a chance like you to take their memories of a place when moving. You take them with your beauitiful shots.
This rise gets beautiful from the sun stuck through the clouds lighting the horizon in perfect geometry. The horizon that's not a bit rotated, but composition is very good in other aspects too. Wonderful sunrise, TFS!

Welcome back. Beautiful sunrise and you have captured the tranquil ambience and the peaceful setting with all their glory. Lovely colours and details and the sillhouetted trees create a dramatic effect. I like the sunrays peeping out from the low clouds. The sunrise is giving beautiful colors to the sky, to the lake and a set od shadows to other parts of the photo. The point of view is giving depth to the photo. A scenery giving a sensation of tranquillity. have a nice day.

I have been catching up (just having returned after my op...) and was thinking I have not seen anything from you - but then I am not in landscapes mode because I still can't get out and about what with my health still playing up.

Love the sunset great silhouettes and stunning clouds and colours. Brought a smile to my face with this one.
