Nice lighting, composition and action in this shot of a Little Blue Heron walking on the mud. I like the way you got him walking into the picture in a determined way. Though the lighting was a little against you the effect is great.

Blue birds are not a common sight, Sky. You have captured this Blue Heron from a sizable distance but the image shows its colour and features quite clearly.
The muddy background of the riverside sets the bird in natural surroundings.

Looks like hard light, but you managed it well enough..
Good placement in the frame and I like the blue herons pose caught mid-stride. The WS is a bit too blurred to really see much, but thanx for the thought..And I agree, this heron was just a bit closer ;}

Wonderful shot of this graceful Little Blue Heron walking in the mud looking out for a ctach. Very neat and sharp image with nice colours and good use of natural light. I like this natural surrounding and the sticky habitat. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.

I have not been active lately and missed some lovely photographs from members. I'll have to go back on the gallery some time and observe all the ones I have overlooked. You have captured this Little Blue Heron in its natural surroundings, and it looks happy as a happy can be walking through the muddy water. I like the movement you have captured with the bird's one paw out of the water. The bright light is an indication that you must of enjoyed lovely sunny weather. Thanks for sharing.
