[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After a long soggy wet winter, spring is apparently finally here, which would explain the heavy snow fall yesterday and the sub zero temperatures that have finally made it this far south down the UK.

Still, it was nice to make the most of the snow and get out into the New Forest with some of the birds for one of our commercial shoots, although as the day went on the wind got stronger and colder under the trees. With the wind ruffling his feathers and whipping snow off the tree branches overhead, even this Barn Owl looked cold.

What a superb shot Miles!
There a really eerie and ghostly feel to this shot.
The driving snow and wind-blown feathers are excellent!
Sharp with lots of detail.
Excellent light.
Very good work!
