[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While hiking the Boone Fork Trail off the Blue Ridge parkway last fall we startled the doe. She was grazing and I did not see her until she suddenly raised her head when she heard us and even then I did not recognize what the movement was for a couple of seconds. She froze for a second and I was able to get this shot of her through the brush. I wish I would have a longer lens with me that day. I cropped this image down a bit and resized for upload to TN. Then I ran the “Auto Correct” in Microsoft Office Picture Manager to bring back the brightness. No other editing.
