The most easterly island in the Mediterranean is Cyprus. The rugged west coast of the island along the Akamas Peninsula offers many opportunities for good photography. Here I captured some of that outstanding natural beauty that makes this west coast so special. This is Geronisos Island during sunset.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Stephen,
Gorgeous dymnamic landscape! You've done wonders with the lighting, color, and comp. Love the emerald FG water and the pinky sunrays. Great timing with the clouds and sunlight. Fine blurred water movement. Superb! Tfs Richard

My My, what a beuaitful photo! You did a fabulous job at capturing this one! Congrats, this is my favorite photo I have seen today! I will add this one to my favorites! Very well composed! Thanks for sharing such a beuaitful moment! Cheers Josh Lewis.

A spectacular capture of the rugged coast with the dramatic light effects in the sky, Stephen.
Excellent use of your 10-22mm lens.
The details, colours and contrasts are amazingly beautiful in this great sea-scape.
The depth of view is phenomenal.
Thanks for sharing this masterpiece and warm regards.

A beautiful shot. Lovely contrasts in the foreground. I was drawn to looking at the beautiful orange glow of the sunset, then my eye travelled to the rocks and green water in the foreground. Cheers Sue

A finely exposed wide angle view of a beautiful land/seascape which demonstrates the varied powers of nature perfectly Stephen, the tremendous depth of field makes this an intensely dramatic composition. TFS indeed!

Hi Stephen,
Chaos has come! The rocks pointing into different directions give a restless feeling. I love how the water finds it's way between those 2 addind some softness.
How did you get this light in the water? did you use a flash.
The little bunch of dry branches could be disturbing but it also adds interesting color.
I went to a specialised shop to buy some filters, but it's already 3 weeks I'm waiting!

Dear Stephen ,
Wonderful shot with great composition.
Spledid light.

Kind regards

What a photo with drama and interesting colours, I feel the orange bush in the foreground is a little distracting.
