Red squirrel

Now is spring and the season for red squirrels.

It is one of my favourites - it makes a great subject: it's fast, cute and not that easy to spot!

Hi Dan,
Good portrait image of this Squirrel. I only ever see Grey Squirrels here and in the UK, so it's nice to see a Red one. Great detail and well managed exposure, good light in the eye. Nice image.

What a cutie! Is he any relation to my squirrel bandit? Seriously, excellent exposure, lighting, and definition. There's also texture that makes me feel as if I can reach out and touch him.
