Black-thighed Falconet (Microhierax fringillarius)

Nesting in the hole of dead coconut tree at my Mother-in-law's backyard.
Same species as my first Falconet here.

"The Nest is built inside an abandoned woodpecker or barbet hole".

Hi Rezlan. You must be all tied up not to be able to post for a while. This is a nice shot under pleasant lighting with the head popped out of the whole. Excellent sharpness and I like the glazing eyes here. Good natural habitat and very well composed. Best regards. Jusni

it is a difficult shot. Bird photography demands patience and skill, just like an MD.
All the best in your coming shot, its such a rarity to see Malaysian birds too.
