the whites are among my favorite. the swallowtails are also there and yet they are so much different...but this is a nice one with the added flora...Very well then.

I don't know which is the more beautiful, the flower or the butterfly!
The flowers details are excellent with the turned down petals, bright red veins and dark red centre.
The butterfly has its own beauty with its delicate white wings and elongated legs - all superbly captured and displayed!

Outstanding butterfly photography. The exposure is perfect and the focus is razor sharp. I like the fact that you used f13.0 and was able to get entire scene in perfect focus but still get the nice blurred background and good DOF. Outstanding natural color and excellent note also!

Hi Alex!

Before I leave for my hiking tour I made a virtual tour through the gallery of TN and discovered also this picture. It's a good start of a day to see joyful colours and a beautiful, delicate butterfly. You have very well put on stage the butterfly as well as the flower. It's surprising to see how the patterns of the petals are similar to the ones of the butterfly.

Another marvellous shot with amazing colors and stunning sharpness and composition. The more attractive item is the Gaillardia with no doubt. How beautiful this flower is! I should like to have a lot of them in my garden should I have a garden. I have a mind to buy a bunch of them for the mother of my boy, for her to plant in her garden at León. She likes flowers so much!

After seeing all those beautiful images of Gaillardia and its visitors, I think I won't mind if some wind blew its seeds over to my garden too.:) I will be sorry to bid adieu to this beautiful flower and I hope the artist who introduced this gorgeous beauty to us will definitely allow a peek or two from time to time in the future .
As usual an excellent image with good sharpness and details. I just loved the way the light adds a sparkling touch to the flower. The colours seems to pop out from the pleasing green background. Exposure is perfect .And that goes for the POV too. A real beauty from the hands of en expert!Thanks for sharing all those beautiful images,

Those tiny-little-mini ones are not easy to photograph and you did so well with excellent details and perfect exposure. What a wonderful display of autumn colours you have here in this beautiful photograph. It is truly a colourful and most gorgeous image, with rich and warm colours on display. The clarity of the details of both the flower and the butterfly is super. A lovely close up with great focus and great sharpness. I love to look at butterfly images as not one is ever the same.
