[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For the second week in a row I noticed dragonflies resting on top of the bare branches of this tree at a place I work at (once a week). This time there was blue sky. They seem to be trying to get the last bit of warmth from the late afternoon sun.
I've noticed very many different kinds of dragonfly in Japan. These black tip ones seem to be very common. However, I really don't know much about them.

Good shot David, not often to catch 4 dragonflies on the same picture. Thanks.

Nice line up David - I have never seen four of them in sitting so close before. Lucky you to get all fourn in one shot.

A very unique catch indeed. Not often you see four dragons in one frame. Well done.

A very nice shot and quite a rare sight to get them together like this.
Nice composition and they all look great against the blue sky.
Very well done.

Great capture of these 3 + 1 dragonflies, they look gorgeous against the blue sky. I'd suggest you clone out the two sticks with no dragonflies on them, otherwise very good.

It is very rare to get this x 4 pose. The angle and composition make a strange effect. No doubth is an unique shot.

Wow, well seen David. 2 different species too. Interesting POV and they look great against the blue sky. I like the way the first three lie on an arc, very pleasing to look at. Well done.

Excelente imagen David.
Gran oportunidad captada con excelente nitidez y perspectiva.
El bello tono azul del cielo, resalta más aun los insectos.

Excellent image David.
Great opportunity caught with excellent clearness and perspective.
The beautiful blue tone of the sky, more even emphasizes the insects. Congratulations.

Lovely shot against the blue of the sky - well done.

This is good because it is curious. If you had posted it on TrekLens everybody would have thought it a montage. The diagonal pattern is perfect.

nice, looks like a fairy circus act....

I have trouble taking a half descent shot of one dragonfly. But taking four at once is an accomplishment I don't even contemplate. I like the composition here against a perfect blue sky. I would have cloned out the two sticks without a dragonfly (workshop).
