Brilliant close-up of this Skink and a nice dedication. Excellent focus on the eye and very sharp details. Fine colours too and well composed.
44 degrees and moisture is too much - we have 25 here and it is hot! I hope it cools down a bit soon so you can go out with your camera!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

The details of this lizard are quite remarkable!
I like how the sun has just reflected in its eye and created a gloss on its shiny skin.
I cannot imagine such a hot temperature! It must be unbearable!

Very nice and sharp....hot or not...I guess these creatures like it! It has an unusual two toned look like an old model US car. Gold top and white bottom...sleek and more than likely pretty fast. I have not seen a snake since my wilderness where I saw many...rattlesnakes and bull snakes mostly. Very big and fast...and no fun to deal with.

Excellent dedication to Haraprasan. It's true that he has done a good job of sharing all those Jewels from Orissa with good notes.
Excellent close up of the Skink with good sharpnes, details and good use of fill in flash. Excellent POV too.

Hi Pankaj Da,
Thank you very much for this lovely dedication. In Cuttack we are having thunder storms almost everyday since last week or so. So we have a little less temperature here. Hope you have the same condition at Raipur soon and also you get a good chance to test you wide angle lens and present us some lovely shots from Raipur & adjoining areas. A lovely capture of this beautiful skink. Sharp details and well portrayed with excellent composition. Thanks once again for this beautiful dedication.

Good to see you here again and I suppose your work pressure is making you keep away from us a bit. This is a splendid shot of this Skink with very impressive sharpness and colours on its scales. That red eye looks scary. Must have made Haraprasan so happy for the dedication. Superb lighting and exposure and I like your POV to portray it. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

excllent details and perfect DOF. Also very good framing and exposure. I am looking forward to the shots from the 10-20mm!
Excellent use of flash with nice color and sharp details.
Very good DOF, POV, and catchlight in this great look at...
What species is this BTW? I also like the POV that shows us that ear canal? directly behind the eye. I might've patched out the green stuff.

Thanks to your guidance, my 18-200mm is about to reach me, Pankaj.
By the end of this month, I would be able to take off to the mountains to use the lens. I am excited about it.
It is good to see you posting occasionally.
Your image of this lizard (I don't even know what type) is a fantastic close-up capture. I know it is a small creature but you have made a fine portrait of it with sharp focus, especially on the eye.
Well done and TFS.

A lovely close up of this very attention-grabbing reptile. The skin's texture is remarkable, and looks a lot like the skin of a snake. The big brown and black eye is really remarkable. A fine close-up this colourful and smooth looking reptile. A well worthy and lovely dedication to Haraprasan. Thanks for sharing.
