[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this aggregation of ladybugs on a barren mountain side, in late April. I guess they were just waking from hibernation. There were literally thousands of them. They are not shy, they get in hair, under clothes, everywhere... and they do bite, unpleasant.

After this much rant, I must admit that, I consider myself lucky to witness this :)

Thanks for stopping by.

In the thumbnail I thought these ladybugs were berries!! What a LOT of them. I would have loved to see them - apart from the bites.
Very interesting and good to see,
Thank you Ali

Wow, Lots of lady-bug action there Ali!
I think the panoramic framing works very well for this theme/subject.
Nice colors, detail, and exposure here :)
Well done & TFS,

Hi Ali,
this is an extremely interesting and rare shot. You did the right thing with regard to the composition and you were lucky to have a covered sky; reflections of the sun would have been a problem. Very well done. Please continue sending your pictures to TN!
Best regards

Hello Ali,
What an impressive collection you have here!! I've never seen such a lot gathered together before! Very interesting and a fine capture showing sharp details and natural colours.
Well done!
TFS and regards, Ulla

Wow! What a lot of ladybirds in one place!
Thius would have been amazing to see.
You've captured it brilliantly Ali.
The panoramic format suits it really well.
A great post.

Hi Ali,
Great bug festival. :) It's great to see so many on one photo. Wonderful colors and sharpness, and as Steve (LordPotty) said, the panoramic format really fits well. Congrats and tfs.
Best wishes from Hungary, László
