I'm not sure what kind of tree this is, but there are quite a few growing along the woods line that were flowering at the time I took this photo.
The leaves remind me of Hawthorn, but I can't find this flower listed in my book. The trees are not large like maples, but they are not what I would consider shrubs either. The size is more like a Redbud tree, if I had to compare it to something.
If anyone can identify this tree I would appreciate it. I thought the blooms were very pretty. |

Hi Ron,
I see no one has identified this beautiful flower yet! These blossoms are exceptionally pretty and I have not seen anything like them. A wonderful shot with excellent details and colors. I love the centered composition.

Hi Ron,
Really nice shot of these flowers. Looks to be a Viburnum of some sort, can't say what the species is without seeing the foliage.
