I found this Arctic starflower (Trientalis europaea) during a quick walk in the forest. I had only my small Lumix in the pocket and was wondering if I could make a macro shot with this camera without any tripod. It worked and I think it is impressive how much power these small cameras offer today. |

Wow that's a great shot. The lighting on the flower and the differences in depth of field are brilliant.
Small cameras do offer a lot of firepower these days, one of my photos that I uploaded onto this site was taken with my camera phone.
