Gliophorus sulfureus

Kingdom: Fungi
Phylum: Basidiomycota
Class: Basidiomycetes
Order: Agaricales
Family: Tricholomataceae
Genus: Gliophorus

I couldn't get either of my mini tripods into this one because it was halfway up a steep mossy bank,so I set up my larger tripod and shot it at a greater distance.
(not sure why the exif data says focal length 6mm ... I thought it was further than that)
Anyway,I had to enlarge and crop it a bit to get a good composition, but I'm quite pleased with this one.

By the way,I've previously posted the same fungi Here but having a different guide at the time,I named them as Collopus epipterygius (the Yellow Legged Helmet)
I've since gone back and edited my notes and title for that photo.

Hope you like this one.

Hi Steve,
Interesting mushrooms. They look like they are made from sulphur. Light and exposure well managed. Thanks.

Hello Steve!

They look tasty :-) Very slimy fungi with nice colours. I like composition also with main subject emerging from darkness. BTW I love your comment about Moon's Anus :-)

Hello Steve.
Another nice capture of this slimy quintet, the texture is well spotted. I would not mind a closer crop, although I have already read that you where quite far, and you already cropped.
Well done, thanks for sharing,

I like those pictures of yours where you make us discover what we don't usually look at and yet you respect the surrounding of those mushrooms: wet and dark places, and you make them beautiful. This is a beautiful arrangement, those three and two groups of mushrooms, in a linear composition, very well seen. Thank you Steve, great photo,
