Thread-winged Spoonwing [EN] / Şeritkanat [TR]
First of all I would like to thank you all who commented on my previous post. :-)
After a long time I went to hiking at a valley, famous for its mulberries, near(ish) Ankara today. This strange insect was flying from one poppy seed pod to another.
I know this is not my best shot. After a few photos my batteries went dead, and it was gone before I put in a full one.
I guess two tailish extensions are modified hindwings. Have no idea what use they are for...
Many thanks to Peter (batu) for finding species name, and to Bayram (boreocypriensis) for providing Turkish name.
Argus, zulfu, boreocypriensis, Juyona has marked this note useful

What an amazing insect! I know that it is frustrating when your camera begin to emit beeps because your battery are dead. Your picture is good enought to see that is a beautiful and strange insect and to allow identification. Very nice colours.

A nice capture of a species of Nemoptera, a Thread-winged Spoonwing shown fairly clearly against a busy BG. Unfortunately I can't give the exact species name.
TFS this interesting contribution,

Ali Bey enteresan bir neuropter türü. elinize sağlık.
Ali Bey selamlar, Bu bir Nemoptera türü (Neuroptera takımından-Zaten Peter yazmış). Cins adı en azından bu. Ama tam tür adını bilemiyorum. Arka kanatları ince uzun olması ile "şeritkanatlı" deniyor. Çok güzel yakalamışsınız. Elinize sağlık. Paylaşım için teşekkürler. Sağlıcakla,
