This large bug is quite common especially in May and sometimes there is so many of them that we can call it a plague.
They aren't rather "gifted" fliers and often crash with walls, windows etc. The Maybugs fly mostly in evening and night. I shot the moment when bug is ready to fly

Interesting capture Rimantas , one does not often get to see the moment preparitory to take off. on the down side the motion blurr does take away from the quality slightly, but still very worth sharing with us thank you.

I've never seen one of these irl. There is some blur but great detail, exposure and composition. Nice shot Rimas, TFS :)
