[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is simple or it is hard, depending on which path you take.

One day is 24 hours long. Depending on the position of the sun to the earth at your location and your time, the hours of sun and hours of night are unequally divided and constantly changing by some period of time which is unmeasurable in any terms we can understand. We have atomic clocks to keep track to the mini nanosecond, but we still do not comprehend. All things are inter-related. The earth and human are connected in ways which only philosophers and Buddhas can grasp. Yet grasping is not the answer. NOT GRASPING is not the answer. The answer is is the question. Without the question there is nothing. Nothing and then the spoken work is a birth of ten thousand things.

If you knew the time, date and hour of this picture, you would still not know from where it was taken. If you added the location, you would also be lacking other factors such as weather and clouds and movement and harmony and disharmony. So what you end up with essentially is an image before you. It is a skyscape. It is a picture of a moment in time when I saw it and captured it. It is as close to time in a bottle as we shall ever get. The rest we shall not know until we disappear from this earth plane.

Hi Bob,

I have looked at beautiful night sky so many times and thought what a wonderful picture that would make. But I'm always in the midst of something, and since I'm still a novice with camera settings I never take the time to figure out what to do. This is beautiful - I wish it was mine!

Jane

Hi Bob,
a most pleasant look up from daily business into infinity, showing nature as as most delicate mixture of eternal rules and those lovely unpredicable comings and goings that are called life.
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter

Hi Bob.
Once more philosophical and at the same time poetic picture and note. Pattern, created by attractively lightened and shadowed clouds, is so cute and decorate the image of the moon and rich blue sky nicely. My warm greetings and kind regards.

Alexei.

Awesome capture, Bob!
I love the colours and smoothness to it.
Very well exposed.

Really well done!

Hi Bob, original... the clouds and sharp contrast to the sky colour add emphasis to the moon... nicely framing it in it's own inner world.regards h

As a child when I used to go home from school, during vacations, I used to wonder why the Sun always followed the train, or even why it was the same dove at every station...
I still wonder...but differently.
A lovely shot, Bob!
