Hola Doug,
preciosa captura,
buena definición y pov,
excelente trabajo,

hello Doug

you did a superb in-flight shot of the Killdeer, very fine POV and framing
with a good space in-front where the bird is going, excellent sharpness
and details of it's plumage, beautiful catch-light at his eye,
i love too to do in-flight shots, in spring i have done on in-flight shot
of a Killdeer but he was very far, the bird is little on the image,

i love very much your photo, i have a theme where i add
my favorite bird photos, but with your superb image, i create a new theme
for my favorite bird in-flight shots, your's will be the first one of that theme

Hi Doug,
It is nearly impossible to take such a brillant flying photo of a plover, especially by a Nikon camera. It is really amazing photo. TFS.Regards

Amazing photo. Perfect sharpness and exposure of a flying bird is so difficult! Great eye contact.

Best regards/Bengt

Nice panning Doug. I need to practice that. It is a nice sharp capture. I find the black frame top and bottom a little distracting. Just for fun I tried white in a workshop.

Hi Doug,
Congrats with your new baby :o)
It's a very nice in flight capture with good details and colors on the plumage, light, POV and composition.
Have a nice day,

Hallo Doug
I don't like this photo at all. I love it! You managed to capture a wonderful pose with perfect sharpness. The colours vibrant and there are so many details to appreciate, and I especially refer to the impressive and most elegant wingspan. Exposure, framing and focus are excellent. Very well done and thanks for sharing this beautiful bird with us. It was a pleasure and delight to look at.
Kind regards

Doug, beautiful shot. A really nice job. Have a wonderful weekend.
