I work as wellsite geologist on the rig, swamp barge, oil/gas platform. there is alot of this Moth (?, some species of this moth.
I dont know about any animals information like this, because my background. So I need help from anyone who live in tropic country. dont be hesitate to critic me. thanks. |

Hasan, I believe this is a moth, yes. When you have a very light background with a relatively dark subject you will have exposure problems. Maybe experiment the next time and over-ride the camera under these conditions? Also try a smaller aperture for better DOF & using your slow-sync. or "bulb" flash setting for fill light.

Wonderful patterns on these moths. I often wondered what the use is since most of them are nocturnal.
Very nice capture on a clea background to set it off nicely. Colours and sharpness are spot on.
