You have captured the essence of dawn here Tony. I do believe there is or are more correctly, some very big differences in the waves of light as to tell difference between dusk and dawn. Very interesting image to choose and show off that particular angle of time...

Hello Tony,
A wonderful sunset with silhouettes of the trees an bushes in the FG set in a fine composition.
It is hard to grasp that this is a shot taken in the winter!. In S. Sweden such a winter shot would be taken at about 4 pm and the deciduous trees would have no leaves. You must live in a wonderful climate!

This is stunning!
Since I have been taking photographs, I have been so much more alert to the changes in the sky! I am amazed at the colours Mother Nature creates and this is a very fine example! I love how the colours change, as the eyes traverse the sky, from pale peachs, to vivid oranges and finally to strong purples!
The silhouettes frame it nicely.

I really like this astonishing winter sky. The colors are wonderful even on my poor LCD screen at work (I can't wait to look at it from home this evening!). Excellent POV and exposition! How is the winter in NZ? Do you have lot of snow? In your picture it looks like trees keep their leaves???

This sky has so unique colors I've never seen such! Usually either the whole sky is glowing or none but here just some clouds are illuminated. It has a special mood, I like it very much, TFS!

Hi Tony,
I am into a sunset mode, so I had to choose this one from your gallery. I like how you captured the gradient movement of colors form almost white to almost black. The silhoutte of the trees add good depth and interest to the overall composition. You have to consider yourself luck to have this type of view from your house.
