Congratulations :-) You did wonders with your old HP so I think you'll master your new Panasonic fast. Very nice portrait of Xerocomus. Fungus is sharp, DOF is very good, same as low POV. Also BG is nicely blurred. It's good to have such park nearby :-)

congratulazioni per la tua nuova camera; bellissima immagine di boleto a cappello rosso, eccellenti POV e composizione con l'habitat, ottima esposizione e buona la gestione del contrasto di luce, molto belli e naturali i colori.
Grazie e complimenti
It's a very beautiful goodbye to your old camera! Your POV is really excellent and you choose the good DOF to present this nice fungus in its environnement. The colours are very nice. Maybe the placement of the mushroom on the right (not in the center) could be better.
I wish you great pleasure with you new camera and great photos too. Best regards,

Fantastic capture.Great shot with excellent light, colours and detail.
Well done on your new equipment. Its always great when the bank ballance (and the wife) finally lets you do something special.
Nice brown textures in this one and I see you continue your unique perspective - keep it up, bu tyou need to watch those bright spots in the background; they distract from the image a little bit. Having said that, they way you shoot is really good in my opinion anyway. It gives us in the southern hemisphere an idea of the type of environment you find your fungi in. I think also that maybe this one is too central in the scene, a couple of centimetres to the left might have been better, but its only my opinion. Great sharpness, I'm sure you'll be happy with your new toy.

Hi Laszlo, You have very high standars and this is good evidence. You will have the thrill of learning the new settings with the FZ-50, a very fine camera. I like this especially because of the DOF effect. Excellent work. TFS. Murray.

You've done an excellent job here.
Great DOF isolating the fungi well in the frame.
The color, details, POV, and exposure look very good to me :)

This is just great! The clarity, focus and sharpness are splendid, and the texture of this fungi is remarkable. I do not have much knowledge about fungi and because of that I prefer not to give my comments on these kinds of postings. I can however not let this beauty pass without adding my little comment for what it is worth. A well composed image with good and clear details. A splendid image indeed. Trek Nature is without a doubt a very interesting and most educational site. Not a day will pass that I don't see or learn something new or something remarkable. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your new camera, as the images proof to come out lovely.
Kind regards from a very humid South Africa.

Outstanding fungi shot in its natural surrounding. You really know fungi better than anyone else out here on TN and you do justice with such superb images. Very neat and sharp image with natural colours and perfect lighting. Your low POV allows us to see the habitat perfectly. Excellent DOF and composition.
