Hello Tom,
Good capture of this heron, excellent sharpness and depth of field, lovely natural colors, good light and excellent composition and pov.

Hello Tom. Perfect capture of a bird in flight. Excellent plumage exposure and perfectly silenced background. Regards. Jusni

Hi Tom,

If only I could get a photo like this when there is not much going on!!! Wow, really well handled technically and shot at the right time with the wing up.

hello Tom

it is a superb in-flight shot of the Great Blue Heron,
fine POV, also fine framing with the good space in front
of the heron, superb sharpness and details of his plumage,

You don't have to see much... just one good opportunity when you are ready for it is enough. This looks like you were ready. It is really nice. I love all the detail. I love the light on the heron against the darker, out of focus background. Nice work

In flight for sure Tom...Almost full framed in flight as well...Very sharp. You really have a love for imaging and for nature. It shows as it does with a number of others here..and it is so mice to have someone on the west side, showing me things I can and do not see..Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tom
This is a nice action shot of a Blue Heron flying....Wonderful DOF and POV. I like the position of the wings here. I was going to post my heron yesterday but saw your nice image...so I waited for today. I think yours is better...a lot sharper.
