This is a surprising subject from you. Just proves that you can make any living thing into a work of art. Is this some sort of grasshopper? What long legs it has. Magnificent colors and details (as always), lovely background and a wonderful composition on the diagonal whatever that is.

excellent macro shot, the colors are well saturated and the contrast is good, the image is very sharp with good details, lovely pov too, i feel that you should try macro shots more frequently as we will be able to see good work like this more often from a photographer of your caliber.

For some reason the purple/violet is the attraction...and even though it is not the focus, it goes so well together in the image that the "grasshopper" looking insect is upstaging the main colour or at least they compliment each other very well.

This is the first time I have seen a shot of a Cricket from you!
This is a very fine sharp macro of a species of Tree-cricket (Oecanthus sp). The long curved ovipositor tell that this is a female.
An excellent portrait from a fine POV, Mario, beautifully composed.

Superbe photo bien composée de cette sauterelle. Excellent focus. Très bonne lumière et splendides couleurs. J'aime beaucoup l'arrière plan avec les fleurs roses qui met bien en valeur l'insecte.
