This is an African elephant.
Feel free to discover more photographs and info in my
Kruger National Park travelogue.
Most of my pictures were taken with a 400 mm mounted on a MarkIII. This one is taken with a 5D with a Sigma 150.
I'm not sure whether it was the Sigma 150 or the Canon [email protected] It doesn't really matter.
ISO was 200.
I like the way the trunk is photographed here. In the background you'll see broken trees and branches. He's been busy:-).

Hi Annick. As you say in your notes a good view of the Elephants trunk in the one. You have captured fine detail and natural colours. It looks a masive animal. i sould love to see one in the wild. well done TFS.
